Georgi Michev, Ph.D., is a Strategic Partner at Portal Global, working across commercial strategy, finance, technology, business transformation and international growth.
He is also the Founder and CEO of Hemus Services and CFO and Co-Founder of CLUSA, a sovereign and private AI company. His work focuses on commercial strategy, pricing, financial modelling, go-to-market development, partnerships, market expansion and the commercialisation of emerging technologies.
Georgi previously served as CFO for Southeast Europe at Kyndryl, where he was responsible for financial strategy, transformation, governance and restructuring across the region. Earlier, he held strategic and commercial roles at Kyndryl and IBM, including Global Commercial and Finance Manager.
He has worked with technology companies, founders and scale-ups across Europe and the Middle East, with experience spanning artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise technology and education technology.
Georgi holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. His professional interests include emerging technologies, European competitiveness, international business and the interaction between technology, capital, regulation and commercial execution.
He is based in Bulgaria and works internationally across Europe and the Middle East.
