Our commitment
Portal Global wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their ability or the technology they browse with. We treat that as part of building the site properly, not as something added at the end.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) set requirements for making web content more accessible. This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
We consider it partially conformant. Partially conformant means most of the content meets the standard, but some parts do not yet. The sections below set out what we have done and where we know we fall short.
This position is based on our own assessment, carried out on 22 September 2026. No independent audit has been done. We would rather say that plainly than claim a level of assurance we have not paid for.
What we have built in
- Semantic HTML landmarks, so assistive technology can move between the header, navigation, main content and footer
- A “Skip to main content” link, the first thing reached by keyboard
- A visible focus outline on every interactive element
- Navigation, menus and forms that work by keyboard alone, without a mouse
- Headings in a logical order, starting from a single page heading
- Descriptive text for images, and link text that makes sense read on its own
- A layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px, and at 400% zoom
- A declared page language, so screen readers pronounce content correctly
- Motion that respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, the fade effects on this site do not run at all
Known limitations
We are aware of the following, and we are working on them:
- The client logo panel on the home page is a single composite image rather than separate logos. Its alternative text names every organisation shown, so the information is available, but it arrives as one long description instead of a list, and the logos cannot resize individually. Splitting it into individual images is planned.
- Colour contrast has not been formally measured on every surface. Much of the site sits on a gradient, so text crosses a range of background tones rather than one flat colour. We believe the combinations pass, but we have not verified each one against the 4.5:1 threshold.
- No independent audit or assistive technology user testing has taken place. Self-assessment finds fewer problems than real users do.
- Articles linked from our Thinking page are published on LinkedIn. Once you follow one of those links, the accessibility of what you find is outside our control.

If any part of this site is hard to use, or you need something here in a different format, please tell us. Specific reports are far more useful than general ones, so if you can, say which page you were on and what happened.
